1965 original wiper blades and holders

    Hello folks

I have a 1965 corvette convertible- lost 16 points on wiper blades and holders.

Any suggestions on where I might locate these two items?

    thanks for your help

Mike - The '65 Corvettes could have come from the Factory with either TRICO or ANCO wiper blade assemblies. In both cases the wiper blade holders would have had the bright polished finish. The TRICO blade holders had the flat to & were stamped TRICO on both ends. The TRICO rubber wipers, i.e., refills, would have had the raised "dots" running the length of the rubber that would have been installed in a SS vertebra or support & have a Latch-Lock clip on one end to secure there refill in the holder.
The ANCO holders had a peak shaped top with a center bridge & 2 end links. A portion of the end link fit under the center bridge & " MADE IN U.S.A. - O.E. BY ANCO is stamped on the portion of the end link that is under the center bridge. The rubber refills a supported by 2 SS "flex tops" that
secure the refills in the holders. The refills would have 2 ribs on each side the rubber wiper & "ANCO R PATENT 2782444" is embossed at the center of the rubber wiper on both sides.
So, the question is what was one the car for judging?

Holders are fairly easy to come by. Original rubber refills not so easy and expensive I think Paragon makes a reproduction rubber that is not too bad (at least it has the dots).
