1972 corvette Wipers do not work

My wipers do not work at all despite doing everything all of the websites say to do and buying everything again though probably not needing all of the parts:
    1. New switch at the top of the dash
    2. new NOS override switch lower dash
    3. NOS wiper motor - bench tested and it works off the car
    4. the car has all new wiring harnesses and everything else works!
    5. all new wiper vacuum parts all around
    6. new wiper door switch - it fully engages the switch as i can here it click when the wiper door opens.
    7. No power at all at the fuse panel - replaced fuses - it is the only terminal that has no power.
    8. Checked the grounds, the alarm works and it shares the same ground as the wiper motor.

This is the very last item on my list to correct, please share anyone's war stories on this topic as it is frustrating to say the least

This may sound weird but did you try the wipers with the doors or hood open or closed? Many years ago I had this issue on my '69 and discovered that the ground at the starter was bad and the wiper would work when one of these was open because the wipers were grounding through the alarm system which shares a ground post on the wiper. Just a thought.

Chris if you have a jumper wire take fuse that has the same or close, 20 amp should work and see if the wipers work. this will complete the circuit to the wiper motor, If it works ,than you know the power side of fuse block is open somewhere. let us know I will look at the diagram and find out where its power source is. I am thinking its a direct shot from fuse block to override switch.

To follow up on Edward's post above, I would run a good ground wire from the plug in ground on the wiper and see what happens.

          Chris,

The ground at the starter is probably connected to the 12 volt terminal. As you have replaced the wiring harness it may have a problem if you bought it from Lectric Limited.

I say this from experience, are you sure the wiper override switch (the big round one in the middle) is in the correct position to allow power to the wiper motor? Have you tried the wipers with the override switch in both positions?

thanks everyone for your suggestions, I did purchase complete harnesses from Lectric limited for everything as my original wiring was butchered and burned so it is definitely better than it was but hopefully with your advice it will get sorted out.
