    63 SWC Intake Manifold

Clarification please...looking for an aluminum intake for my 340hp car. According to specs I would be looking for an intake with a stamping of 3794129. I came across one in my search but my concern or question to the group is the power brake connection. Did they offer two versions of this intake in 63? The ones I've come across do not have that hole on the intake or was the hole drilled and tapped on the line for cars with this option?

That's the correct casting number - part of the mold, not stamped.

PB used a different adapter into the rear of the AFB than base - PCV on one side, PB hose on the other. Refer to section J-50 of the AIM.

Sebastian, If you have Nolan's book he has the details of the boss on the rear of intake, later cars I believe were tapped and had a brass plug, very early cars had no boss, mid cars had the boss and was not tapped.

Long Island Corvette sells the PB carb adapter and non-PB adapter....

Make sure that used manifold doesn't have any broken/repaired ears, threads are good and no corrosion around the thermostat flange...and if its supposed to have a baffle on the bottom that it is there and properly attached.
