C4 1996 targa acrylic bronze top

My 96 originally had the optional bronze acrylic targa top along with a fiberglas painted top. Through the years the acrylic top is now gone. I have found an acrylic top for sale off of a 96 (everything is correct per the judging manual and dated 0196), however, the owner cannot confirm this is for sure the bronze acrylic top. He says it looks like "smoke". The GM number on the blue instruction tag is 10284150. This top was originally on a green 1996.

Does anyone know for sure how to tell if it is a bronze acrylic targa top?

There are only two acrylic targa tops available blue tinted and bronze tinted. The bronze top is a very dark golden brown and will look almost black depending on the lighting.
