Seems some of the best Loctites are not available in auto stores. Only Industrial tool supply catalogs like Travers, MSC, McMaster Carr, etc.

Permatex makes this as well. Should be on display at local parts stores or you can check it on the Permatex web site. I used to use Permatex #2 but I like this better. Coat both the yoke and pinion splines, let degas a few minutes and assemble.
