On page 144 of the '61 AIM 3744855 clip is called out. It's under the dash below the windshield. Can someone please post a picture or two of these from a correct installation (I looked at several cars locally and not a one of them including a TF had these installed)?

Re: 1961 - Need picture of clip 3744855 correctly installed
John, Yes always best to give the Section and Sheet #, but I found the clip. Underdash harness clips that attach to the windshield T-bolts. Many are missing because the T-bolts are a pain to install using the washers and nuts to grab that short little amount of T-bolt thread. Add the clip and it's even more difficult. If T-bolts were 1/4" longer it would be so much better.
I only have one photo of one one clip. The AIM shows the locations. The most difficult to install is the far side of the Driver side. What's also tricky with replacement harnesses, is you have to bend the harness loop into a upside down "U" shape to loop it onto that clip.

Thanks so much. Interesting - these are different from pictures of the one set that I've seen. I'm going to bend my shop made ones to match this which will make installing them easier. Do you happen to have the dimensions of these? Now if I can just find someone who's got some to sell it would help make my day.- Top

John, The set I pictured are reproductions from most suppliers. I'd bet originals will be tough to find.
Sorry, I have no measurements of originals, and don't think I can find any repros handy.

I bent my shop made ones to match these and everything is better now. Haven't been able to find anyone that I can deal with that has them. I'll try to make some that closely resemble the picture so that I have them for the windshield install.- Top
