Who is the most trusted/honest/fair Corvette Dealer (Buyer) now??

Maybe my above question is a oxymoron but I do need some opinions on the subject. Here is my story:

Have a friend that wants to sell a nice Top Flight (small block) C2. He does not participate on this discussion board
and ask me to put the above question to our members. He does not want to deal with individual buyers and
will deal with dealers only. (eg.: ProTeam/Gullwing Motors/Marshons and others) Is there anyone of the current
dealers that stands out as fair??? Need some opinions please. Thanks in advance--Larry

IMO, at least 20 % will be left on the table, as any dealer needs a profit.

Another option is a individual which markets 1 or 2 cars for an owner. Usually it's been gone over with a closer look.
Not sure if such a person will over come his "does not want to deal with individual"

As a seller your friend has little to worry about. What he needs to worry about is the exact price that he wants for his car. Then to get that amount from the buyer. All of these places will only pay what they feel the car is worth and their checks will all be good. The bigger dealers mentioned here have all been around a long time. That does not happen without good business practices. So if the seller gets his price what is he worried about. Some of these places get bashed because they buy a car at a lower price and sell it for more money. But that is their business. A buyer on the other hand has the responsibility to know exactly what they are buying. That is a lot tougher to decipher from the dealers. But it is also the same with a private seller.

Totally agree with you Pancho. The seller needs to be educated and it's their responsibility to know the car and know the market.

Bought a car from Greg Wyatt at Vintage Corvettes in Summerville GA. Good quality car at a reasonable price. He followed through with our shipping agreement after some misunderstanding. Can be spendy but fair.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Roy Sinor, Sinor Prestige Automobiles Inc. He is the best in the world, bar none. Our Duntov 1962 Fuel Injected that we owned forty five years with document from first owner to present was handed to Roy. Roy asked "what would you like to net" he responded "would you like to make some money?" The rest is history. I was very pleased with the check I received. If you don't believe me ask Paul Mazut how Roy handled his 1961 big brake fuel car.
