57 Radio black and grey wire
Im putting my radio back in the car and forget where the grey and black wire hook up to

"Grey and black wire." Does it come out of the under dash harness and terminate in a connector where one of the wire terminals is horizontal, and the other is vertical? If so, that's the power and the dial light. On my '62, it plugs into the radio body. Facing the front of the radio, the receptacle is on the left side towards the back and the bottom. This goes into the radio.
If it is the two wires that terminate in a connector that comes out of the radio, it goes to the speaker.
Sorry I can't be more definitive. I don't have ready access to a diagram. But there's only four things that connect to the radio:
1. power and dial light wire harness
2. speaker harness
3. antenna cable
4. ground wire -
