1969 GM AIM and RPO Information

Does anyone have a "real" 1969 GM RPO list or GM AIM. Not a reprint from MidAmerica or NCRS.

Need copies of the RPO pages from a "real" 1969 AIM.

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Gary, what is it you're looking for? I know of no one that has an original (factory issued) AIM. They're all copies made from copies of copies!!

      Gary,

There is a list of RPO for 1969 Corvette in the Manufacturer Data section of the GM Heritage Archive for that year. RPO codes are scattered throughout the documentation, but the list is on page 105 of the pdf. Click the link below, select Corvette, select year, accept the usage agreement and the Heritage Center pdf will download. FWIW, the only original AIMs I've seen were at Mid-America. Got to see the AIM for 1983!

What date period are you looking for? AIMs changed, perhaps daily.

          Ed,

Looking for a copy of an original GM AIM engine options pages. Not one that has Mid America's or anyone else's water mark on it at the top of the page. Date range would be December for the engine RPO's.

          David,

The RPO's at the GM Heritage Center that I've seen appear to be copies of black book pages.

          Loren,

Mid to Late December 1969 dates for the engine RPO codes.

          Thanks to y'all for responding.

            Gary,

Just the reverse, the GM Archives are the source of data for Mike Antonick's books. The RPO codes and Type Designations for engines, transmissions, etc are on page 102 of the Archive pdf. I've tried to insert the page into this response below.

              Dave,

Thanks. I didn't go that far back. Page 4-6 is what was copied from the Black Book.

Unfortunately, page 124 Power Train section is dated Sep '68, which doesn't include all the engine options like the L88 & L89.

Aren't "late December 1969" AIM pages going to be ABSOLUTELY FILLED instructions on how to build 1970s? What is being "Chased" here? What "question" exists that needs to be answered?
