Hi Rich,
I was wondering the other day how you were doing with the shielding. I just pushed mine back toward the block a little to clear the shielding. They are really thin so it doesn't take much. I only had to do this on the rears of the 73. No RFI chrome shielding on the fronts, just heat shields and the French locks cleared them fine. Not sure what others have done, but that's what I did. Glad it's all coming together for you.
