    and yes I played heck trying to get a belt that would work,wound up with about a 34",
    34" ??? Would expect longer belt to lower the alternator geometry.

        Francis,
        If memory serves, the alternator belt is 54" not 34"...I think the old idler belt was 34"

            Yes you are correct ,I hit the wrong key....I have a 54*belt on now.
