NCRS judging standards for variance in Engine assembly date and final car build date

    Hi,
I have a 63 Cpe, the engine assembly date is 10-27-62 and the final build date for the car is 1-3-3. Does the gap in time here meet NCRS guidelines? First post.

    Thanks

    Hi Larry,

Welcome aboard! Yes the NCRS typically allows up to 6 months prior to car's build date for dated components. For glass (windshields, door glass, etc) we allow for dating up to 12 months prior to the car's build date.

This info can be found in the 8th revision of the Judging Reference Manual. If you plan to get involved with judging, this is a must read.
