1958 dash harness

Question; does the main dash harness go over the steering column, under it or over the support frame just above the steering column?

I hope this is not one of those been answered a million times.

Doug, From the fuse panel, it hangs from one harness clip(w/shield t-bolt location left of cluster), then into the fuel/temp gauges, then OVER the column to the right hanging from the remaining t-bolt harness clips, across to the radio panel area, then along more clips to the Pass side(if Courtesy Light equipped).

These pics may help a bit....or may confuse you even more. It's a rats nest up there on these things. Just be sure all wires are free from the infamous chain-saw cables of the wiper system.

Wow Richard thanks so much. What a nice clean job you did. I assume I can get the clips from Paragon, etc., and I do have the Courtesy Light.

It's terrific to have guys like you in the NCRS with so much detail information. AIM etc. just does not show the proper routing of many things.
