OK now the next faze of my 72 BB build

Is it OK/permissible to route the fuel (braided SS) line up the back of the engine and bring it in to the back of the carb rather than the front?????
    Thanks Rey

Seems like a lot of work for little to no gain. What about the fuel pump? What's wrong with the factory routing

I'm confused--if you are using a very non-stock item, what is the issue about being "permissible"?

Hi Mike --- absolutely not stock mechanically. I was concerned about heat with heads in that narrow area.

Hello Kieth, Sorry for not including enough base information. The reason for wanting to route the fuel line as described was to make it less noticeable. I am doing the best that I can to hide lines and wires considering the limited space available. The electric fuel pump and filter are mounted in the back next to the tank. The trans cooler is a stand alone unit in front of the radiator and AC condenser.
          Thanks for your concern.

Assuming that routing is done properly(no contact where chaffing could occur) I see no issues. The heat difference between the new and stock location is negligible and I have been forced, during engine swaps, to route braided hose too close for comfort(in my opinion) to exhaust manifolds in the past with no ill consequences.
