Re: Sportsman Cars at Warwick
Michael, I was unclear. The Sheridan shuttle will take you to the Crown Plaza and the Crown Plaza shuttle will take you to the Sheridan.
The same with the Holiday Inn. Holiday Inn shuttle to the Crown Plaza and the Crown Plaza shuttle to the Holiday Inn.

Re: Sportsman Cars at Warwick
The hotels we've negotiated with are the Crown Plaza, the Holiday Inn and the Sheridan. If the hotel you are in is not one of these but is close to the Crown Plaza I suggest you give them a call. The hotels in the area are accommodating so I believe there should not be a problem.

Re: Sportsman Cars at Warwick
I am thinking of starting a thread under the name "Dumb Questions" and I will probably be the one most likely to ask them.

Re: Sportsman Cars at Warwick
Thomas, NCRS encourages it's members to drive their cars as much as possible. The Sportsmans car or class is a recognition that a member has driven his car to a chapter judging meet, regional meet or National meet. Each time you drive your car to one of theses events you attain Sportsman points. If you attain a certain amount of point in a certain time frame you are presented a very nice plaque. At the National we reserve parking for Sportsman cars.
I've attached an aerial view of the host hotel to help visualize where the outside events will occur. You may print if you wish but I will be handing out a copy at checkpoint charlie upon your arrival.
The RED line directs you to the Staging Area for Judged Cars. Operations Judging will be performed there prior to entry to the tents.
After your Operations Judging a volunteer will direct you to the photo area.
The YELLOW line is the Road Tour Route that is to arrive at 3:00 pm on Sunday
Park in General Parking first, see the Registration Staff to obtain your documents then proceed either the Staging Area, Secured Parking or remain in General Parking, depending on what you purchased.Attached FilesLast edited by Harry S.; July 14, 2016, 09:43 AM.

Re: Sportsman Cars at Warwick
What about the Comfort Inn? That was one of the hotels listed as "Additional Hotels" in the registration information. The hotels we've negotiated with are the Crown Plaza, the Holiday Inn and the Sheridan. If the hotel you are in is not one of these but is close to the Crown Plaza I suggest you give them a call. The hotels in the area are accommodating so I believe there should not be a problem.- Top

Re: Sportsman Cars at Warwick
The cars are to be placed in the outside Staging Area on Sunday. Operations Judging will commence Monday morning in the Staging Area. When your Operations Judging is completed the tent crew will call for cars to be placed in the tents. On the way to the tents a photo of you in your car will be taken. I suggest you bring a cover.

Re: Sportsman Cars at Warwick
Chris, the Sheridan and the Comfort Inn are next to one another and are owned by the same corporation. Call the front desk and they will pick you up and take you to the Crown Plaza.

Re: Sportsman Cars at Warwick
If your car does not require ops (bowtie cars), do they have to be left in the staging area overnight on Sunday or can they go directly into the tent on Sunday?- Top
