Reproduction T 3 Headlamps

Darn, no longer in production. I've followed the reproduction of T 3 Headlamps . First with the DOT embossed in the lense. Later DOT labled on the back, out of site. I was hoping to see the filament bracket go from round to half moon like orgional. I waited too long .. I went on line to order a pair for the '57 and found the tooling was disassimbled ,no longer avalible . I checked a dozen venders with out luck. Any suggestions ?

Try Jeff Ashen(Pacecar Jeff) used to source the repro headlights.

Take a look on ebay under T3 there are a lot of listing for T3 bulbs with and without the DOT stamp. You might even find a listing for original old bulbs there. The old bulbs may not work for a very long period of time though.

Thanks for the replies.
I found a pair at Keen Parts in OH . (I guess they are NOS now)
The lamps are the later ones from Lectric Limited with the DOT on the back , not on the lense .
I'll install them this weekend and give a report on how much brighter they should be .

Those would never be NOS. They would always be reproductions.

Just recieved a set from Lectric limited and they do have the dot on the front.

I bought a set of originals about 10 years ago and if I remember correctly there was some discussion about warming the old ones up in an oven before putting power to them. Not sure if this was true but I lingers in my memory.
