C2 side exhaust cover protector

I just installed new Sweet Thunder side exhaust and NOS GM covers. I want to protect the covers at the point just behind the front tires. My old ones were bretty best up there. I've tried to locate the clear plexiglass ones that most vendors sell, however all that I checked with ( Paragon, Corvette Central, ZIP, and Eckles) do not have them and don't know when they will get any.

I'm thinking of fabricating some myself, but i can't figure out how to attach them. The vendor ads say them simply clip on.

if you have a set, would you pleae post close up pictures of the top and bottom edges where they attach.

Don,

By now you have received your Corvette side exhaust shield protectors that I an now manufacturing again. Please post some pictures of them. For anyone else who has attempted to order them from through the various Corvette aftermarket parts catalogs and found them not available is because I quit producing them back in 2014 due to low sales volumes. I produced another run of them and now have them available again directly through me. Please see my ad on the NCRS Classifieds page on the website.
