headlight dimmer switch grommet plastic or rubber ?

have an early 63. The what I think is original appears to be plastic. heard it should be rubber.
Any one have an original for sure. plastic or rubber. Thanks.

The ones supplied thru Carpet vendors are plastic. Paragon did have rubber grommets? PN 5636

the ID of the NOS GM rubber grommets is 1.00" . the al knock plastic grommet ID is 1.05". mike
