I need to replace the blue VIN decal on the drivers door of my 1973 convertible. Options include 350 cu in, AC, Automatic, Power Windows, Power Brakes & hardtop. If anyone has these options on their '73, I need the entire vehicle weight specs off of your label listed just underneath "Mfg By General Motors Corp". Thank you. Tom Harmon #17320.

I would be happy to give you label numbers from my 73 convertible but unfortunately it doesn't have the same options as yours. However, I've attached a couple pages of specifics for the 73 and what each item weighs. It might be easier to get the data from someone who has the same options as you do though. Hopefully, someone will help you out.
Good Luck,

Re: 73 Vert drivers door Blue VIN label
Hi Tom
The sheets that Jim posted may affect the weights you are looking for. Does your car have the base engine or L82? Also is your AM FM radio a stereo? Both options have extra weight associated. If it is a base engine and stereo, I can offer the numbers listed on mine as the other options you listed are the same.

I'm pretty sure he originally listed that he has an L82. The second page of my above attachments does have the added weights for the different motors and all the options. Or at least I thought that's what those numbers are. I guess you add those to the base weightAll those numbers came from the 73 corvette Factory specifications Manual from GM.
Thanks ,

Re: 73 Vert drivers door Blue VIN label
Hi Jim
The list you have IS how the weights would be calculated for the car. When I read the OP post, their was no reference to the optional engine. And the stereo radio adds 4 lbs due to the bigger heat sink.
We are on the same page, just looking for the details to help him.

Tom:
Here is the GM vehicle Information Kit for the 73 C3. Has the above listed info--and other specification information that is interesting to read.
