I have run across a 63 convertible that has the original VIN tag attached to the Z bar with two pop rivets. The original spot welds (3 of them) are clear and obvious.
The VIN tag matches the VIN on the frame, and also matches the paperwork that the owner has for the car.
There are no legal issues with the car or this VIN.
How would NCRS treat something like this?
VIN tag attachment not typical of factory production? What sort of deduction is involved here?
Inquiring minds....
