I believe that 1964 was the last year for riveted construction wheels on a Corvette.

I know that standard width 60-62 wheels were welded, as were 57-59 (dogbone). 5 1/2" wheels through 62 were riveted.

        Edward,

Standard 5 inch riveted wheels were not used on production Corvettes after 1956. However, as Mike points out, the RPO 5 1/2 inch riveted wheels were used on 1957 - 1962 production Corvettes. The RPO 5 1/2 inch riveted wheels were available over the parts counter for several years after 1962.

Guy, Thanks for the answer to my question. I have a friend that has a 62 with a riveted wheel, not sure of the width, and he was wondering if it is correct.
