67 outer heater box cover, best reproduction?

Need a outer heater box cover, non a/c, for my 67. Long island and paragon handle repos, descriptions from both sound different, anyone have a recommendation between the 2 or another source?

One of the above should yield a good used original. You could also try a WTB ad in the Driveline. After that, it is probably a toss-up between the two reproductions..........with perhaps a slight edge to LICS.

Scott Sinclair does excellent fiberglass repairs. "Like it never even happened." He repaired my 1967 original tire tub for me.

The Long Island repo is very nice.

I have used Long island's box and was not crazy about the fit, I had to elongate the holes where the studs fit and really was nothing like the originals. Bob not trying to cause any waves.As said the fiberglass can be repaired if its in one piece.

When removing the original box on my '66, I wish some of the holes had been elongated as that would have made removal easier. I would up damaging some holes when I took it off. I wonder if installing the LIC box would have the same issues as installing/removing an original? Just asking.

Gary, A lot of people break the outer boxes because when they replace the heater core they do not remove the outside box first, the heater core necks interfere with the outside box. that why so many are on ebay broken in many pieces.
