    6 1/2" Spare Tire Bolts

    Are 6 1/2" spare tire bolts for 68 as I thought 1969 and up were 7 1/2" for the tub.Any help is appreciated,Joe

      The 1968-only bolts, GM #3929208, were about 6" overall length. The 1969-82 bolts, GM #3956389, were about 6-5/8" overall length. The 3956389 was also SERVICE for 1968 after the 3929208 was discontinued.
