1969 Valve Cover Gaskets

Doing a frame off on a 1969 convertible 350/350 and just received the motor back from balancing/blue printing. Since I will have the car judged (someday) I will be using NOS cork gaskets. Would appreciate any suggestions on what would be the best gasket sealer or any ideas to help minimize oil leaks. Thanks for your help Steve.

Steve, You can use a product form permatex called spray tack. spray it on one side and install against the v/cover ,will take a few coats, and on the other a little orange overspray on the lower edge of gasket for the judging aspect which most like to see some.
