1954 Engine and Transmission Numbers

These are the numbers that are on the engine and transmission of my 1954 Corvette. Can someone tell me where the information for these numbers is located?

Kim - Here's what it looks like you've got:

Transmission main case: 3784867 is a Powerglide cast in the foundry on F151 which is June 15, 1961.
Engine stamping: F609B Flint block, assembled on 609 which is June 9, 1958, suffix code B is a 235 CID, 145 HP, 1 BBL Carb, with Powerglide. Below the engine stamping is the date code of F58 which is June 5, 1958.
Cylinder Head: 3836848 is the passenger car cylinder head. The date code is under the valve cover.

For original 1954 Corvettes...

Engine block: 3835911 with an assembly stamp of nnnnnnnF54YG where nnnnnnn is a seven digit sequence number (not a date).
Cylinder Head: 3836241.
