Quanta- Driveshaft and Half Shaft Service No Longer

After contacting Quanta and inquiring about their driveshaft and half shaft services I was informed that this service is no longer available due to the passing of the vendor that was providing this service. So does anyone else knows who else may provide this service?
Does anyone have any good tips for doing this themselves? The half shafts are for a Big Block. I know the half shafts on a big block are shot-peened.

    Hi Gary
I just did the bluing and joints on some fantastic looking shafts for Jeff Pollard's '68. I don't know where Jeff got them done but they did a great job polishing them . Jeff will probably chime in but you can reach out to him as well.

I was never very much enthralled with the Quanta driveshaft/halfshaft restorations, anyway. I believe the process that was used involved turning them in a lathe. This removes metal and that reduces the strength, especially torsional rigidity, of the shafts. I don't like that. These shafts carry a lot of power and torque. They don't need to be weakened by even a little bit. In addition, I really don't think the finish achieved replicated the original appearance.
