    60-62 HD rear brake fan

Anybody know which rear brake fan profile is correct for 60-62 with HD brake?
    Thanks

    Bob,
The one on the right with the extra "cut" in the profile tools correct to my eyes. In fact, I have one fin around here somewhere.

I used to have a stacks of brake fans in the old days. No one wanted them so my Dad junked them. After first warning me. JD

It has at least three more coils, but the coils are a thinner gauge. Perhaps this gave the same effect? A bit of green paint daubs remain on the third and fourth coil from the bottom if that give a clue.

One of the coil springs had an aluminum shim. Has anyone seen this type of shim before?

            Bob
On the springs, thinner wire = softer and more coils = softer, so that is probably the standard spring that came with 687. 687 used standard springs front and rear and bigger bars.

C1 springs were ground flat on one end and used flat shims. That aluminum shim is the type that would be used on a C2 type spring.

Bob, my 60 BB car did not have the fans bent as yours show. Must have been an owner thing.
