    single wire distributor module installation

Replacing dual points in my '62 340 hp distributor(stock, no vac advance) with the single wire type electronic module. I don't want to cut off the secondary points wire per instructions since I may want to go back to points in future. A member in the past suggested I insulate the spade connector on the end of this wire and then bend it back and secure it with a zip tie inside distributor but I forgot and can not locate exactly how this is done or to what to secure this wire to so it won't get caught . Please refresh my memory.
    Thanks

Re: single wire distributor module installation

As Rosanne Rosanadana used to say when SNL was funny, "Never mind." After removing distributor cap, discovered that there was a jump wire between points that was removed along with points. No wire cutting, etc, needed. M&H module seems to work fine.
