Could someone tell me the correct length of the pin at the top of the bolt. GM part number 9420488. Have to find or make one. Thanks, Jeff.

Hardware store. 3/16" roll pin. Probably only carry 3/4" long, but they can be cut off.

That is exactly how I did mine ---- 25 cents at the local Ace Hardware store --- got one and cut it to length with a Dremel tool --- problem solved.

I think I made mine out of a # drill. Just cut off a bit and could still use the drill.
