This question refers to determining the correct wiring from the coaxial condenser to the coil and from the coil to the distributor on a '54 Corvette.
The ignition wire is shown as pink on the wiring diagram. I don't have the original one to compare to, but got two different versions from LectricLimited. One is pink with round terminals on both ends, and the other is black with a round terminal on one end and an inline spade terminal on the other. The supplier feels the black one is correct, and is the one they presently sell.
The new coil wire is black with a right angle spade on one end and an inline spade on the other. I have what I believe to be my original coil wire, which is 12" long and has right angle spade terminals on both ends.
I'd appreciate receiving comments on what is known to be factory correct.
Thanks,
