    From 1963-65 when I was in high school I worked part time at a Chevron Service Station in Hayward, California. That's the only employment I ever had in the automotive industry. So, that must be when I learned it all.

          1965 L-78 as well as 1967-69 L-88/ZL-1 originally used the GM #3788422 cover without clips, same as 1963-68 small block.

          All other Corvette big blocks used the GM #3843943 cover without clips.
