Current manual shows that the label was on all early 71 up to at least SN 1455, thus Paul's is after and had it and mine did not. If someone else has SN between 1914 and 2153, this info would be good.
    Got it, thanks!

So if the LT1 SN 2153 mentioned above was not delivered to CA it would not have NA9 and therefore no yellow decal. LT1 SN 2333 could have been a CA car and would have NA9 and the yellow decal showing that there were cars earlier then 2333 without.

Does that make any sense? Just trying to get it straight in my head.

For 1970 the NA9 situation is a little more complicated than you are indicating Tom. NA9 was required for California delivered 1970 Corvettes, but it could be (and was) available on any 1970 Corvette. Thus 1970 NA9 installation does not necessarily indicate California original delivery. I have seen a number of NA9 installs on cars originally delivered to states other than California, and not all of those had the complete NA9 equipment. I suspect the factory had some NA9 equipment on hand toward the end of 1970 MY production and forced installs on other than California delivered Corvettes, but we may never know the complete story.
