This seems a little unusual. Does anybody out there have any idea what this might mean? My car's build date is 4/11/63 if that has any bearing on anything. I appreciate any input on this. Thank you.
202 is the Job Number, typically 1 to 500 then repeat. This was used to help track parts inventory etc.

I'm certain Harry and others will chime in, but I'm curious. Where exactly is "EXX" hand written?

My WAG on the EXX ? .... EXperimental "X".

Harry, Regarding the 64 style compressor mount. Years ago I have seen several unrestored
63 C60 cars with 64 style compressor brackets. I believe that they were upgraded when the stamped
brackets cracked. As you know, the 63 style brackets were
rather delicate, which is likely the reason that they were strengthened for 64 to 67.

Thanks for the reply. "EXX" is hand written right next to "202" on the inside of both door panels.

Loren, How would this documented Oct 62 order indicate there were none built before it?
