    C2 Am/FM Radio dial cord replacement

    Has anyone tried to replace the dial band changing cord in a C2 AM/FM radio?
    Mine is broken and I am having a problem getting to the back of the dial to replace the cord. Looks like it will take major surgery to get to it.
    Any advice will be greatly appreciated?
