Thanks to the research of Chuck Gongloff many moons ago the first Blue Flame Special Magazine was January 1969. Volume #1 was a small 5 1/2" X 5 1/2"issue. Volume 1 #2 may have come in the smaller size and/or 8 1/2 X 11.

The last issue was Volume 7 #4 and was the Oct/Nov/Dec 1975 issue.

Thanks Mike and Dave. That means I need the last one.....one more item for the swap meet/E-bay list....there's ALWAYS one more, isn't there? No part yet, Mike, but re=assembly of the other 3 has started. Thanks again.

Yep. The V7N4 issue is tough to find. The club was getting smaller and smaller, and was ready to close shop by then.

Just FYI... here are pictures of the Volume 1 issues, numbers 1-2-3. These were from 1969. There was no number 4.

Notice that they're called Vintage Corvette Club of America Newsletter, NOT Blue Flame Special.

The Blue Flame Special name began with Volume 2.

Purely as an additional piece of useless information (out of an endless supply), it should be noted that Donald Edward Majestic of Yucaipa CA, who will be cited as an NCRS benefactor in the next Restorer, was member #41 of the Ed's Vintage Corvette Club and authored an article about stripping paint in Volume 2, #1. The quest for Volume 7, #4 can begin now. Thanks again to all.
