Please excuse my tardiness: I have not received notifications of responses to my NCRS replies/subscriptions since 4/1/16.

Trying to sort this out with Lyle Waggoner but so far, no success.

Continue to monitor your replies manually.

    Thank you my friend, Joe.

Yes, I have the same problem with the e-mail notifications.

Here's an Edelbrock 8810 for 170 bucks. It's new but it's out-of-box. You probably won't care too much about the box, anyway. After you install the pump, you'll most likely just throw the box away.

        OK you convinced me!
        I bought it.

I've been following this post and wonder why you are not signing up for Edelbrock 8810 pump as it has everything you want. Is the flow thru it not good or what?
          Hi Gene,
Just couldn't justify the xtra money is all, but the new pump Joe saw is a good deal.

HI flow, I think is more a gimmick than anything else. Probably just means that it has a good, iron impeller rather than a stamped steel one. In any event, I'm not concerned about flowrate. My engine runs at 160 (thermostat is rated @ 160.............my choice for a cool intake manifold and heads for power production) all day, even in ambient temps over 100 degrees.

I'm surprised that you can keep your engine temp @ 160 degrees.

A "proprietary" trick implemented to stiffen the cylinder walls.

I also added an oil cooler which, in combination with the "trick", takes a big load off the radiator which, in factory trim is marginally sufficient to handle the heat rejection requirement of a SBC. My oil temp gauge reads between 190 and 230, depending on how fast I'm traveling. The coolant temp gauge was calibrated by me to be accurate within the middle range of the gauge, with zero variation @ 180 degrees.
