2016 Convention

Hi guys,
I see the 2016 convention is about 1.5 away from me this summer. I have never been to one before so is there one day better suited to attend than the weekend? That will be a week after the Club Corvette show in CT so some of you might be interested in that if you're driving in.

Gary, essentially nothing happens on the weekend. On Saturday trailers will arrive and be parked but not unloaded. On Sunday cars car arrive early, check tanks, take pictures and maybe ops check. Up to Dave B. Then the cars go inside the tents, Schools are every day. I think the flight judging starts on Tuesday. PV has a different schedule. The judging has to end Thursday to prepare for the Thursday night banquet. The exact judging schedule is not set as cars are still registering.

Gary,

With your vast restoration/rebuild knowledge of differential, trailing arm, and steering sectors, I think you would be a great candidate to hold a technical seminar at the convention. I'm not sure who would be your contact but I would think Mr. Capone would be a good starting point. If I were going to attend this year, your seminar would be on my must attend list.

Hi Harry,
I was in contact with Steve and the planning was done months ago and booked, I kind of expected that.

For those that are interested in a real hands demonstration on C2-C3 boxes, arms, and diff's I will be holding a seminar on the Friday of Carlisle in August. You can contact me if you have any questions and I encourage those that have previously attended and went on to build their cars to share the experience.

I will see if I can get up to RI in July but my days are pretty booked so weekdays are tight.
