I am looking for a shop to rebuild my 3461S Carter carb. I need to find a shop that can deal with excessive play in shaft components (getting vacuum leaks) as well perform rebuild and surface housing finish

Re: carburator rebuilding
I was at a NCRS Seminar a few months ago on carburetors at customrebuiltcarbs. Phil Cancilla gave the seminar and explained what they do for carbs in your condition. Phil is very knowledgeable about all types of carburetors and you can contact him at (732) 356-4333.
He will be glad to spend the time on the phone to explain his procedure on excessive shaft play.- Top

Re: carburetor rebuilding
Eric Jackson, Vintage Muscle Car Parts just did my AFB. He heli coiled the air cleaner stud threads, and repaired throttle shaft. He ran the carburetor on an engine to set the HC and CO.
Nice person to work with, and reasonable price.

Re: carburator rebuilding
All American Carburetors in Jacksonville, FL does my work. Their finish is much more original than others (their beading process). Also, they repaired the sloppy work done by one of the shops mentioned in this thread. I won't name names as I don't want to mess up someone's livelihood.
