Do Paragon's shocks qualify as "service replacements"?

I don't know what qualifies as "service replacements". To me, they should fall into same category as new convertible top with a 62 date code on it or for that matter a new radiator, gas tank, etc, which is new but stamped with another date. Will do more research and post what I can find out.

You don't need "more research". you need basic research on NCRS deductions. Find out before you're disappointed.

Just a note - you should consider the 'cost per point' strategy prior to judging. Service Replacement Delco shocks will get you a bit of a hit, but the money to buy originals could be better spent, on say, fixing anything that might fail ops judging (for instance C1 windshield washers are always dicey) - those are an instant 25 point deduct...

Good advice! I have run into that already. How much $$ to spend for something that is a minor deduction.
