In looking at the 2004 Restorer article that Ralph pointed out, I realized that your sketch shows the shape of roadster glass. Does the same rear alignment line work for coupe glass?

    Gary ,

I don't know. Until yesterday I didn't even know it worked on a roadster ! Is the Coupe window sash and rear channel configured the same and look the same as mine on the back side ?

As you can see, the glass should not protrude too far as to hit the rear channel too hard. Some other photos show some spacing of the glass which may help.

      Rich,

I agree , and my way assures that the glass hits, and or rubs the rear channel no more or no less then the channel guide does. So it looks like the way to go . Now the hard part comes ! To actually do it !

Thanks for the pics as well .

        Jim,

At the moment I can't remember where I stored the windows sashes for my coupe, so I can't take a photo. But to the best of my knowledge the sash and the vertical rear run are different for coupe vs. roadster for 64-67. Don't know about '63
