I'm on a Chevelle forum and anther member posted that certain NCRS members have production records containing ECL codes and how many of certain options were produced in groups. I would think like how the Adams book breaks down the ECL codes. Is this true? Is there more data out there that is not published? If so will it ever be?

Re: Unpublished production records for other Chevy cars
Keith,
I was able to get additional information from vehicleinvoice@gmmediaarchive.com for a handful of Camaro's and a Grand National I own. They do have production records and copies of dealer invoices available still for car's newer than 1975. I was told by Scott Settlemier former head of the Camaro division that records were found on microfilm not destroyed.- Top

Re: Unpublished production records for other Chevy cars
Keith.
I suppose I could go to Kinkos and copy but the Chev. series production records from 1948 to 1970 are approx. 4" thick and weigh several lbs.. Did it once before and the cost was over $110 I doubt it is worth the effort. Easier to answer your question. Your group would probably accept the data whereas the Corvette crowd seems only interested in 30 year old info.- Top
