1967 AIM Pages for Seat Belt Installation

Would someone please send me the applicable pages in the 1967 Corvette AIM that shows the seat belt installation diagrams that include the shoulder harnesses. I am helping a friend install the belts in a 1967 convertible. You can send the to the TDB of to me at jb.west@cox.net.

    Thanks,

    James West

James, When you install the shoulder harnesses, you'll have to remove 2 little plastic plugs that are in the threaded nut plate reinforcements over the rear wheel areas. You have to remove the plugs to install the harness bolts.

Save those plugs for the 1961/1962 guys. It's the same part that's used in the trunk floor and rear wheel body area drains. A very hard part to locate.

James West - I wonder if you can answer this question for me. The new NCRS 1967 Judging guide (JG) shows a photo on page 42. The image is numbered with "I 11 3" and shows the outboard seat belt retractor installed. The numbers stamped in lower part of the metal bracket are visible in the photo, indicating that the "numbers facing interior" is the correct alignment. Do we agree that this is the correct orientation ? Thanks.

(The upper part of the retractor with the vinyl cover, is not entirely visible in the photo in the JG.)
