1965 365hp exhaust manifold

I have a June 1965,365 hp car with an original 2 1/2" (fuelie) right hand exhaust manifold...however, it has a hole and and choke tube in the top for my carburetor.Is it possible that the factory "modified" the manifold by drilling and setting a tube to "use up"the fuelie manifolds ,since the fuelie was going out of production and the big block was in??thanks,Jamie

"902" were used on 300, 350, 365 and 375 engines, only the FI did NOT get drilled for the choke tube. Sounds like you have the correct one for your car.

Thank you for your post.I have the 902 942 manifold but I have a carburetor car.not a fuelie.That is my dilemma. Would they drill a 942 since it was close to production end and they were phasing the fuelie out?

The 901 942 manifold was used for BOTH drilled and non-drilled applications. Your application uses the drilled version and that's exactly what you have.
