    C2 door holding Fixture

I'm thinking I remember seeing someplace where a member made a fixture to hold a C2 door in place while adding shims to adjust the door. I checked the archives and can't locate it. Any one remember such an article or have one you've made that you'd care to share the details of? Thanks. Al

How about this one?? http://www.eastwood.com/e-z-rest-door-hanger.html I remember years ago when they first introduced it. I have not used it, but it looks decent.

Thanks Larry, but am looking for something homemade. That one does give me some ideas, though! Al

I admire the DIY spirit. But comparing the purchase price of $104 to the time and material cost of building it, the balance tips. Especially if the time available is limited. Of course I'm thinking how long it would take me, not someone talented with such things.

Mark, if using wood and /or bolts, screws, I have access to these materials at no cost, so it would mainly be labor only. Time is not a factor. Thanks for the response. Al
