Bolt pattern wheels
How do you measure bolt pattern on a wheel. Are argent finish the correct finish for 1993 wheels?

Here is one answer:
At car shows I see people walking around with a plastic disk with many holes in it that fits various more common wheel bolt patterns. I tried looking on line for one of those without easy success. I can't imagine they cost more than a couple of frog skins, so the on-line shipping may be more than their cost. Check at your local FLAPS for the plastic disk if the above link is more complex than you want to deal with.Terry -

Wheel bolt pattern is described by the diameter of a circle drawn through the centerline of each lug bolt.
My recollection of 1993 Corvette wheels is that they had a machined aluminum finish sealed with a clearcoat. 1992 was the last C4 year for mostly painted wheels (except ZR1 and Grand Sport). However, the outer portion of the "spokes" for 1993 may have been painted an "argent silver". By the way, there is no definitive formula for "argent silver"; there are many formulations that may be described as "argent silver". I think the specific formula or description of the paint used on Corvette wheels is available, though. I once had some used 1992 wheels restored by Wheels America and the paint on them came out PERFECT---absolutely identical to my original wheels.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment
