Are there any original 73 owners with a manual transmission who can verify as to whether or not the metal part number tag is attached to one of the lower tranny case bolts as called out in the 73-74 Judging Guide?
The part numbers are:
6271516 for the M20
6271518 for the M21
These numbers were the same for the 72 which also included a third 6271517 for the M22.
The numbers were also followed by a two letter broadcast code. For example the two letter broadcast code for my car is WD (found on my Buildsheet). These original tags are rather pricey on line and I would like to know for sure if they were indeed present on all 73 Muncies or did this practice end with the 72.

On page 294 in the 1973 AIM the part numbers are incorrectly listed as just the opposite as I have noted above
