Doe's anyone know who makes a teac wood wheel for a C1 corvette,
i saw one on a 62 at barrett jackson. i talked to Eric Freeman who
makes wheels but i don't think he makes them for C1's. i know Grant
makes one but you have to use their adapter. i'm looking for a custom
made wheel made from a C1 core. If anyone has a lead to a source, I
would appreciate it. thanks in advance!

Had an original teak wheel for my '66 restored in Dec. 2015 by Douglas Graves here in Canada. He also makes reproductions from cores that mirror originals. Here is his info: phone: 519-752-0780 email: douglas.graves@sympatico.ca. Not sure if he does C1 wheels, but worth a try. He is a wealth of info and 99% of his work comes from the US. Good luck.

Thanks Steve, I got a hold of Doug and he makes them for C1's. He sent me photographs and they're absolutely beautiful. He's having surgery and won't be able to start on it for six weeks. Thanks again for the help, my 1962 has a black interior and this wheel will look fantastic.

Doug Graves does C-1 teak,steering wheels. He'll used what ever wood you want. Doug's friend Barrie Schram has a Rosewood one on his. I believe it was the first C-1 wheel he made and it looks great. You may have to supply a core.

Thanks Pat, i already got a hold of him. He's having surgery and won't be available for six weeks. He will contact me when he is able to start building the wheel. He sent me color photo copies of the finished wheel, It's beautiful.
