Where can I get the correct choke coil for 69 big block, Paragon and Ecklers tried to sell me a coil that is the same as hollies, where the rod pushes up for the choke to come on, I need the coil where the rod pushes down to come on. According to the ncrs book I have the right carb.

Do you need the one they list for small blocks?

Corvette Central adds 390hp (aka Q-jet carb 427) to their description of that same coil.

It's good you noticed the differences in choke coils and are aware of what you need. I've seen several cars with the linkage and stove "bubbafied" in an attempt to get an incorrect coil to work. Looks terrible.Mark Edmondson
