Anyone know the Delco part number and where I might get one for 1963-360HP? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1963 Balast resistor SHP
Jerry, I selected this ebay auction as it shows the correct characteristics. The price is over the top as they are available in many places. There is another with a black dot, Part 1931385 is probably the correct one.

Re: 1963 Ballast resistor SHP
Harry. That BR resistor on ebay is NOT correct for Jerry's 360 HP. Lets start forgetting the info on the black dot.
The proper black dot is not made with a magic marketr. The dot is made with a spot weld.
Jerry needs a D1111 Correct BR for an original 091 coil Jerry.
The ebay listing for only $325 bucks is a D1110. One would expect to see that BR resistor used on a lower HP car running an 087 coil.
Joe Ray missed it also. Whew!!!!
Now there is a cheater you know. Buy a nice new NOS service replacement Ballast resistor. Then find an old POC original from various make old cars. Cut the bracket off on the back side with a nice dremel cutting wheel or other means. Get the bracket plated. Then tack weld it onto the new porcelain and you have the real deal.
