Re: Midyear coupe door weatherstrips
When I installed new weatherstrips on my 67 coupe the doors were hard to close. After a period of time the weatherstrips took a "set" and now the doors close easily. This took about 6 months. I don't recall where I got the strips.- Top

Re: Midyear coupe door weatherstrips
I grabbed a set (l/r) NOS ones off eBay.
They fit perfect, were fatter in appearance - but were very soft. I had zero issues closing doors and they sealed 100% all around, no water or wind leaks at all.
The NOS ones are by far the best choice - much more expensive, but will deliver what you need.
my 2 cents..

Re: Midyear coupe door weatherstrips
I put NOS ones on my 66 and they were so firm that they cracked the paint from the fiberglass flexing. I had to destroy them taking them off and then put repos on which worked much better.- Top
